Short answer, Yes.
We’re happily pitching our educational tent where indigenous wisdom, reiterations and spin offs of that wisdom aka 'woo-woo’ consciousness culture (not knocking it), and data driven medical practices and research validated mindfulness and meditation practices all overlap.
Where these schools agree is actually a vast and rich territory. We excitedly hold space for all three. Teaching in the overlap our means of providing the information that’s most useful to most people (while also not holding one source of knowledge as superior to the others).
The only exception to this general practice during this retreat (that we can spot from here) is we may have a Guna elder come share some stories and wisdom from Guna culture (one of the Indigenous groups of Panama).

Arrive with a beginner's mind. We know we'll have a bunch of facilitators, educators, therapists, physicians, execs, professionals, free spirits, etc. Lean into curiosity and see what golden little nuggets there are for you.
Communicate with us in real time if something comes up (if you’re able to) We’d love try to help you problem solve
Stay present - sober enough to be here
This retreat is designed explicitly to be a space for exploring medical and recreational platonic touch and connection. This is not an environment for sexual advances. The Co-Conspirator team is attuned to differentiating between open platonic behavior and sexual advances. It is up to the discretion of the Co-Conspirator team to invite a behavior change or immediately dismiss a participant from the program for sexual behavior. Program dismissal requires the participant to departure from the retreat site, transportation will be provided to Panama City, and no refunds will be issued. This is absolutely a firm line we take seriously as it allows us to tend to the safety and nature of the retreat container. (For gals wanting to lean into their sexual energy check out our Women’s Self Pleasure Workshops, and for anyone else we have tantric coaches and other retreats we can point you towards - We’re not sexual pleasure shaming it’s just not what THIS retreat is about)

We've experienced tech free connection, and damn it's so worth it.
If you want to gift yourself 5 days tech free we have a phone number that you can leave with you families in case of an emergency.
At a minimum, all group activities and common spaces will be tech free. You’re welcome to use tech, with headphones, in your room if you so chose.
We also support telling your job you won’t have service or wifi (even though you will).
HAVE NO FEAR: We also want you to have some beautiful images to remember this incredible event by. We’ll have a professional photographer here to capture the moment so you can just be in it.
We will not use your image without your consent.
There is an explicit photography and videography consent form that will be gone over and signed upon arrival.
We will not use your image without your consent. If an intimate moment is captured you can absolutely have it, while asking us not to use it. We get it, it’s all good.
Okay..... I think that should make it beyond clear, but if you have questions, message us at: mountandmed@gmail.com

The answer is a tad complex. Infants and toddlers are welcome. We do not have activities designed specifically for small children so you will potentially not be able to participate in a longer hike, but that’s pretty manageable and if this is the only way you can make it. Give give us a ring or send us an email so we can help square away the details.
We have beefy waivers that cover the risks of the rainforest setting and your responsibility to minding your kiddos safety and well being.
Older kiddos are generally not considered a good fit for the space as they aren’t able to roam unattended and many of our activities would be quite boring to an elementary schooler or preteen.
Teenagers can be considered on a case by case basis, again just give us a ring and we can sort out if this is the right adventure for you both.

Yes absolutely. You’ll need to pay for personal transportation to and from the preserve for any altered arrival or departures but it’s simple to accommodate.
-
We’re a young, small, company and relying on word of mouth for registration, so cancellations can have a big impact. So here’s the flexibility we can offer:
Cancellations made greater than 90 days prior to the retreat = 75% refund
Cancellations made between 30-60 days prior to the retreat = 50% refund
No refunds granted within 30 days of retreat start.
We do not issue refunds for Covid related absences.
-
Yes absolutely. You’ll want a 4×4 truck rental and a keen sense of how to drive it in the rain forrest, and across rivers, but you can absolutely stay off site. Another option is hiring a local driver for the duration of your trip.

Arrive in Panama City Panama, Tocumen Airport (PTY) the day prior to your retreat start. The Geoversity shuttle vehicles will pick up all retreat participants at 9:00am from Panama City, the morning of your retreat start. The shuttles will depart promptly.
Please don’t miss the shuttle, you’ll find making last minute transport arrangements to the preserve (2 hour drive) annoying and likely costly.
-
We will be tucked in an incredible rainforest in the mountains. Temperatures will vary but likely be between 75-85 degrees Fahrenheit (23-30 degrees Celsius). Light intermittent rain showers throughout the week are a lovely cool down for those of us who enjoy a cool sleep.
Please note that we don’t control the weather :)
